Hi, my name is Josef Vraj, I'm forty years old and at the moment i live in the northest part of the Czech Republic near the borders with Germany, 130 km from Prague.
I have been making pottery since 1994. It was jewellery and pipes at first, but as time went on I started to produce a large range of not only decorative but also utility ceramic products. I make everything on my own, sometimes with the help of my wife Petra.
In my art I use old Northamerican Indian and Celtic techniques, metal oxides, own mixtures of coloured clays and classical or metallic glazes. All wares are burned in an electrical oven at 1200 - 1230°C.
Most of the wares are original signed and dated or made in small series by own design.
Because I want my things to be not only beatiful but also useful, they are made in such maner that you can put them in the dishwasher in to a classical or microwave oven etc.

A different type of my work are smoking accessories at the moment they are mainly pipes and water pipes - bongs which can be found here under the "F.A.G.S." mark (since 2007).
The last, but certainly not least of my interests is jewellery. In small series I make RUNES, CELTIC and other AMULETS and STAR SIGNS.
And the best for last especially for women is the "MYSTERY Collection" (since 2009) - extraordinary jewellery where each piece is a one of a kind original created to accent woman's beauty and ellegance. All of the metal parts are made of surgical steel "osteofix" and therefore are suitable for people with allergies.
