At the wedding of Robin Hood with Maid Marion in Sherwood Forest one of the guests was wearing these earrings, but in the midst of the dancing and revelry, they fell off - but she hardly noticed. A magpie picked them up and carried them to her nest, but it was robbed by a squirrel, who tucked them away into her underground stash of acorns. The hooks caught into the cracks of two acorns that were just starting to sprout, and as they grew they became firmly rooted into the ground beneath oaks that grew on either side of one of the Forest's many footpaths. The trees grew with their branches intertwined overhead as something seemed to keep reminding them of the romance under the Earth's surface. Eventually these trees' lives faded away and when they crashed to the ground, what a surprise! The sparkling green earrings were recovered.

The green fluorites have the magical property of seeming to change color slightly as you turn them against the light, and the Swarovski vitrail crystals add even more light.
